Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amโ5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (215) 662-3580. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is pennmedicine.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dr. Puhan He and her team performed a sliding genioplasty with genioglossus advancement on me for sleep apnea and recessed chin. I knew I wanted two thingsโ a female surgeon and an academic center. I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. UPenn is the highest standard of care so it was a no- brainer. From our first visit, I felt heard, safe, and advocated for by Dr. He. We came up with a plan that had a functional and cosmetic benefit. She worked with my insurance to get the procedure 100% covered. I was nervous, but as soon as I saw her the morning of surgery, she reassured me and the nervousness went away. My fiancรฉ and I were both comforted by her warm and confident bedside manner. It made all the difference! Her team of residents, surgery schedules, MAs, and nurses were top notch, too. I appreciated the email communication which made things easier for FMLA documents, pre surgery planning questions, etc. I already feel my airway has improved and I know I made the right choice. Could not recommend this team more!

Dr. Foote and Dr. Stoopler have been absolutely outstanding. After years of struggling with teeth grinding and clenching, they took the time to try different solutions and genuinely focused on finding what worked best for me. Throughout the entire process, I always felt that they truly cared about my comfort and long-term health. I can't recommend them enough!

When I first went to see Dr.Tanaka I had already tried numerous things to treat my TMD. I still cant eat real food. And she went on to try trigger injections and physical therapy which literally did nothing for me. She told me to see a pain specialist after telling I can only open my mouth 19 degrees. How am I supposed to function on that and eat again? I'm in considerable pain. And would not recommend you waste your time with her. She claims to be a specialist but then wont do anything for you anyway. I know am taking matters into my own hands and going to see the surgeon their myself since she refuses to do her job. She then went on to tell me it's my depression that's the issue eventhough I had two abnormal findings on my MRI report. What a quack? Please do not waste your time on her.

I was told that I owed nothing for each visit with Dr. Granquist (other than a co-pay for the first visit, which I paid during that appointment), and then received a bill for all visits months later. Turns out, Dr. Granquist had been coding my visits with a TMJ code which is not covered by my insurance, but I had no way of knowing this because 1. I was told by the office I didn't need to pay anything; 2. I was never informed that they were using a TMJ code; 3. I was not told that my insurance didn't cover the service that was coded, especially when I didn't even know what code was being used to begin with. I had no way of knowing what was going on because nobody made the effort to inform me. To this day, I'm still not sure if the visits were even properly coded, because I was seeing the doctor for far more than just TMJ. I tried remedying the situation with his office right away but they refused to work with me. (I also took steps right away to pursue Penn Med's financial assistance program, spending hours gathering paperwork and reporting thousands of dollars of medical debt, only to be rejected because of my household income, even though it's completely eaten up by clearly-docu

UPDATE: this was only a 5 star review when Dr. Giannakopoulos was there but ever since she left, this office is terrible! The front desk and even supervisor (who isnโt even the supervisor at the office Ryanโs the manager of the access center that schedules for this office) know a patientโs situation and will verbally tell you theyโre going to call you Monday or Tuesday and find out how to help and get info they donโt know about to be waiting 4 weeks. No one here even told me she was gone and got me in with another provider. Dr. Granquist used to respond to emails but doesnโt anymore. But Iโve heard from other people that heโs not even that great I was just specifically referred to him and Dr. G by a distant family member whoโs a provider in the same building. This has been going on recently for months but the situation for 3-4 years. Meanwhile Iโm developing new symptoms and the frequency of the extreme severity of my pain I daily all day and night. Ryan says Casey and the practice were supposed to call me and help I waited patiently two weeks. Casey only called me on 3/2/26 because I had to cancel my appointment that week due to not being called for 4 weeks ago to be able to see D

Was there for an oral surgery a few weeks ago, Dr David Stanton and his team were truly wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and explained things in details prior to the surgery so you know exactly what to expect. Surgery went very smooth.
